Apex Envirotech, Inc. is based in Gold River, California, and has offices and/or projects in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Kansas, Missouri, and New Mexico.

 

Our corporate office in Gold River, California is seeking a Project Manager to manage existing projects as well as assist in acquisition of new clients and projects. Primary responsibilities of this position include:

 

· Conducting soil and groundwater site investigations

· Implementing remedial systems (SVE, air sparging, bioremediation, pump and treat, chemical oxidation)

· Analyzing data

· Preparing and reviewing technical reports

· Environmental Compliance, Preparing Phase I and SPCC Plans

· Supervision of staff

· Preparing cost estimates and budgets for potential clients

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for: task and project management, preparing technical reports, preparing cost estimates and budget tracking, development and oversight of field sampling and field procedures, supervision of soil and groundwater investigations, feasibility studies, remediation design, business development, and assistance in staff development in technical areas.

 

Position requires BS in geology, hydrogeology, or engineering, although qualified candidates with degrees in other environmental disciplines may be considered based upon applicable professional experience. Strong writing and communication skills are essential. Completion of 40-hour OSHA training for work on hazardous waste sites required.

 

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years environmental consulting experience with at least one year of managing projects. California Professional Geologist or Professional Civil Engineer certification preferred, but not required. Relevant experience in other environmental sciences will be considered.
