Environmental Scientist

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Scientist, Biologist, Geologist, or Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our environmental team, you will be responsible for providing support on various environmental projects and programs managed out of our Denver Operations.

• Conduct multimedia sampling, including air quality monitoring
• Oversight of operations, preparation of reports and tables, review of data, field audits and inspections
• Organizing and reviewing data, file reviews, collection of air monitoring data, training and exercise support, contractor oversight, and related services
• Travel to project sites, with mobilizations lasting 2 weeks to 30 days

• B.A/B.S. in science, engineering, geology, or biology preferred but not required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental sampling/consulting or related field
• Experience with remedial design, feasibility studies, hazardous waste, site investigations, site remediation, field sampling, air quality, ecological restoration, water resources desirable
• GIS data analysis and geostatistics, coding (VBA, Python, etc.), and data management skills a plus

This position is 100% in the field, with extensive travel required. You must be able to lift and carry field sampling equipment, work in all weather conditions, and walk on uneven terrain.

Tetra Tech offers a competitive salary range of $28.00/hour to $32.00/hour, depending on education, experience, skills, and location. We also offer a basic core medical plan and 401k retirement plan.
