The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for all corporate accounting including month-end close, treasury, accounts payable, financial reporting, financial planning & analysis, audit, and special projects. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience with a mid-to-large sized corporation or public accounting experience. Responsibilities:

  • Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
  • Cash management and banking activities
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Analyze business unit performance and select balance sheet accounts
  • General ledger maintenance and chart of accounts
  • Prepare work papers for year-end audit
  • Provide support for annual financial statement an SOX audits
  • Accounts payable processing and analysis
  • Maintain variance analysis on market financial results
  • Fixed asset accounting and depreciation analysis
  • Assist upper management with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • 1-4+ years of corporate and/or public accounting experience 
  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proficient with ERP systems
