Registered Dietitian

Pride Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian for our client in Dunwoody, GA In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver optimal nutrition therapy to a diverse caseload of clients. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans through comprehensive nutrition assessments, monitoring ongoing medical conditions, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary treatment team.
Salary: $58k-$72.5k
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Holiday rotation (usually 1 holiday per year), on-call rotation (on-call phone rotation, one week at a time, usually once every 8-9 weeks)
Level Of Care: Inpatient and Residential Care.
Case Load:
- 7-10 clients.
- 90 minutes of care per client per week.
- Usually two sessions (one 30-minute individual and one 30-minute family session to provide updates and nutritional education for families)
Main Responsibilities:
- Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients by policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning.
- Provides group nutrition education as assigned.
- Provides active meal coaching and support for patients and families/communities of support, including participating in and completing Therapeutic Supported Meals/Snacks as appropriate and as assigned.
- Provides nutrition-specific transition/aftercare planning for all patients including communication with internal and external dietitians to ensure coordination of care.
- Collaborates with the Nutrition and Culinary Manager and nutrition team when needing or providing clinical coverage.
Qualifications:
Registered Dietitian credential is required.
Bachelor’s or master’s in nutrition or dietetics
A current license in the state of employment (Georgia) is required.
One year of clinical experience
