Pride Healthcare is assisting a top behavioral health organization in Dunwoody, GA to identify the right person to fill a Registered Dietitian opening.


Responsibilities:

  • Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients in accordance with policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning.
  • Provides group nutrition education as assigned.
  • Provides active meal coaching and support for patients and families/communities of support, including participating in and completing Therapeutic Supported Meals/Snacks as appropriate and as assigned.
  • Provides nutrition specific transition/aftercare planning for all patients including communication with internal and external dietitians to ensure coordination of care.
  • Collaborates with Nutrition and Culinary Manager and nutrition team when needing or providing clinical coverage.


Requirements:

  • Registered Dietitian credential
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in nutrition or dietetics
  • Current license in the state of employment (Georgia)
  • One year of clinical experience


Additional Details:

  • Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Holiday rotation (usually 1 holiday per year), on-call rotation (on-call phone rotation, one week at a time, usually once every 8-9 weeks)
  • Inpatient and Residential Care
  • 7- 10 clients, 90 minutes of care per client per week
  • Usually two sessions (one 30-minute individual and one 30 minute family session to provide updates and nutritional education for families)
  • Permanent position
  • CEU credits available through Learning and Development team
  • 25 hours of paid education hours to pursue external CEUs.


Must be authorized to work in the United States.
