Our law firm is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Legal Assistant or Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys in the preparation and management of a wide range of employment-based petitions, including PERM labor certification, I-140 immigrant visa petitions, I-485 adjustment of status applications, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to keep track of multiple deadlines.
  • Prepare and file various PERM labor certifications with the DOL, compiling audit compliance files, and responding to PERM audits.
  • Prepare and file various USCIS petitions and applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the current immigration laws.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather information, address concerns, and provide updates on case progress.
  • Prepare correspondence.
  • Ensure timely and organized filing of all legal documents

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience as a Business Immigration Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
  • Must be available to work in-person Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm – this is not a remote position.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to draft correspondence to clients and government agencies associated with the cases.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience in using immigration case management software (INSZoom) is also preferred but not required.
