Role Description

Attorney will represent clients before various government agencies or before immigration and appellate courts. Prepare legal briefs, memorandums, opinions, and immigration packets; communicate with clients to inform them about their cases; analyze the probable outcomes of clients' cases using knowledge of legal precedents; evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of clients' cases, processing cases, etc. in a combined role of both legal assistant and attorney. 


Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and Bar admission in Texas
  • Immigration experience required (Legal Clinic, prior Legal Assistant, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Immigration law, visas, and related issues
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual required
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
