Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCentury Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $52 to $57 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cost accounting records and analyze results.
  • Help support a more complete reporting package.
  • Work directly with operations for daily reconciling and analyzing positives.
  • Construct in month end closing process.
  • Support in creating policy and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Assist with special projects assigned by management, including but not limited to inventory tracking.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or advanced and cost accounting formal training
  • 3+ years of cost accounting experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Excel) and accounting data base Ledger based ERP system experience, Oracle Fusion is a plus
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
Experience:
  • Experience with month end close, annual audit, budgeting, financial reporting.
  • Exposure to full cycle accounting and operations.
  • Detail oriented, organized and good time management.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills.
