Summary: 

This position is responsible for client account management.   Working with clients to ensure timely customer service.    Able to manage client’s expectations in all aspects of title and closing.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

Review purchase contracts

Communicate with Realtors, Brokers, Lenders, Purchasers and Sellers

Review lender closing instructions. 

Prepare CD/settlement statement within 1 hour of receipt of loan documents. Upload instructions and CD to website. Balance final CD for funding. 

Receive approval CD from lender/broker. 

Review Processing Calendar for assigned transactions. 

Confirm receipt of CD by closer. 

Review Title Binders and Abstract for clear title to close. 

Demonstrated ability to review all the pieces of the abstract and chain of title for clearance and fraud related issues. 

Review all Taxes and payoffs. 

Assist with the confirmation of all closings and fundings. 

Return all voicemails and emails promptly within an hour 

Knowledge and ability to interpret CD/settlements statements and real estate closing documents.   

Demonstrated ability to recognize issues and thoroughly review closing documents instructions. 

Demonstrated ability to calculate state specified recordation. 

Demonstrated skill to resolve issues to accurately to close the loan. 

Attention to detail 

Strong analytical skills 

Manage Pipeline of clients which requires reviewing files to make sure they are closing on time

Other duties as may be assigned. 

  

Education and/or Experience: 

•Two years’ minimum experience in the financial services industry specific to title and closing. 

•Ability to read and interpret documents such as Form 1003, Pre-Hud, title, and ICLS documents, title commitment documents, tax certifications real estate property tax information.  

Computer Skills: 

•This position requires the knowledge of basic computer systems. 

•This position requires a demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel). 

• Knowledge of Resware, Title Express desired.

•This position requires demonstrated skill in data entry. 

•Familiarity with ERNST web site 

Must be proficient with Outlook, must be able to create Excel spreadsheets. Position requires knowledge of basic computer systems; demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel). Requires demonstrated skill in data entry. 


 

Competencies: 

* Managing e-mails to complete any client request for information timely 

* Effective communication with internal departments, as well as the company's clients 

* Demonstrated knowledge of our company's process flow and the interworking of company's business flows from beginning to end 

* Demonstrates attention to detail 

* Excellent interpersonal skills 

* Demonstrated communication skills (verbal and written). 

 

Special Requirements:  

Language Skills:  Ability to read and interpret documents such as Form 1003, Pre-Hud, title and ICLS documents, title commitment documents, tax certifications, real estate closing and property tax information, CD/settlement statements.  Ability to write reports, correspondence, and memos.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
