Job DescriptionJob Description

 

The Office Manager is responsible for assisting members with their immediate needs. This includes, but is not limited to, giving information on the facility, products, and services, assisting with reservations, and collecting payments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage front office by responding to member questions and needs via phone, email and in person.

  • Developing and maintaining effective and friendly working relationships with staff, members, guests, and vendors
  • Providing information on marina products and services by walking docks with customers to offer boat storage options and inform them of property amenities.
  • Providing excellent customer service.
  • Dealing with conflict effectively, courteously, and tactfully.
  • Accepting and reconciling daily cash, credit and check payments, and following up with past due balances.
  • Routine administrative tasks including ordering office and restroom supplies.
  • Organizing and planning events for members and staff, throughout the year.
  • Available to work overtime when required.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Technical and Physical Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior marina experience preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to walk distances outdoors in all climates.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
