Job Title: Parts and Service Operations Specialist
Job Summary: The Generator Parts Associate is responsible for managing the inventory, sales, and distribution of generator parts and accessories. This role involves ensuring the availability of parts, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining accurate records of inventory and transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of generator systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of generator parts and accessories.
- Order and restock parts as necessary, ensuring availability for customer needs.
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
2.Customer Service:
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts for their generator systems.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims in accordance with company policies.
3.Order Processing:
- Process and fulfill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and package parts for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to manage incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Support road technicians / Pulling – Staging parts for the week and supporting with on-site issues
- Research Parts for Service quotes
4.Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales transactions, and customer interactions.
- Update and manage the parts database to reflect current stock and pricing information.
5.Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about the latest developments in generator technology and parts.
- Continuously learn about new parts and their applications to better assist customers.
6.Safety and Cleanliness:
- Ensure the parts storage area is organized, clean, and safe for both employees and customers.
- Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Forklift experience
7.Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification related to generator systems is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in a parts associate role, preferably in the generator or automotive industry, is advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with generator parts and systems.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
Working Conditions:
• This position may require standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
• Work may be performed in a warehouse or retail environment with varying temperatures and conditions.

8am - 5pm
