Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and improve administrative systems, policies, and procedures

Job Brief
We are seeking a highly capable Director of Administration to manage our company’s administrative operations. You will be responsible for overseeing team performance, managing and allocating resources, setting goals for departments, implementing company policies, and ensuring a high level of employee satisfaction. Your expertise in streamlining our business operations will help our organization increase efficiency and remain competitive. You should possess strong strategic planning skills, exceptional leadership qualities, and strong knowledge of performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
- Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency
- Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
- Manage schedules and deadlines
- Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as Director of Administration, or similar role
- In-depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies
- Familiarity with financial and facilities management principles
- Proficient in MS Office and databases
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Good problem-solving abilities
- BSc/BA in business administration or relative field; MSc/MA will be a plus
- Problem-solving skills to handle issues that affect the functionality of the organization and to implement effective solutions.
- Financial acumen to oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing, ensuring all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
- Human resource management skills to oversee staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and retention.
- Strategic planning abilities to develop and implement efficient systems and processes, and to align administrative functions with the organization’s goals.
- Proficiency in using various software tools including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Director of Administration Experience Requirements
· Director of Administration a minimum of 5-10 years in administrative or office management roles.
· This experience must involve overseeing office operations and administrative staff members.
· Experience in project management, human resources, budgeting, or other administrative functions.
