IWI Incorporated has been providing our customers with Overhead Cranes, Hoists and Service for a wide variety of Manufacturing Industries. Our specialty is supplying and servicing cranes and hoists from 250 Lbs.to 20 Ton Capacity.

We are also an Industrial Equipment Integrator. Our product lines include dust collectors, steel belt conveyors and custom controls. We are located in Wickliffe, OH - 10 miles east of downtown Cleveland..

We are looking for Field Service Technicians to Repair, Build, Inspect and Install Overhead Cranes and Hoists,

The applicant must be hands on and self-motivated.

Experience is preferred. But we will train the right candidate.

Job Scope

  • Perform Scheduled Preventative Maintenance on Overhead Cranes and Hoists
  • Perform Inspections on Overhead Cranes and Hoists
    • To meet ANSI and OSHA Standards
    • Inspections will be Performed Using a Tablet
  • Perform Repairs on Overhead Cranes and Hoists
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Mechanical Components on Overhead Cranes and Hoists
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Electrical Components on Overhead Cranes and Hoists
  • Evaluate & Make Recommendations Regarding Required Repairs
  • Communicate and Work together with Fellow Service Technicians, Management and Office Staff
  • Comply with all Safety Policies, Practices, and Procedures at All Times.
  • Build Customer Relationships in a Professional Manner through Solution oriented Communications and Service.
  • Participate in Training and other work Meetings as directed by Service Manager

Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with clean Driving Record - Able to Drive Company's Vehicles
  • The ability to Successfully pass a Physical Assessment

Equipment Use: (Training is Available)

  • Able to Operate a Forklift
  • Able to Operate a Scissor Lift
  • Able to Operate a Boom Lift
  • Able to Climb Ladders Safely

Requirements:

  • Ability to Commute To and From Customer Sites using a Company Provided Vehicles
  • Ability to Work from Heights
  • Employees are Supplied with and are Required to Wear Personal Protective Equipment that the Job Requires.
  • Work is Performed under a variety of Environmental Extremes: From Wet to Dry and Cold to Hot
  • Full Time - First Shift Job - Monday thru Friday
  • Occasional Overtime Required
  • Knowledge of Using Basic Hand Tools
  • Must Supply your Own Basic Hand Tools
  • Able to Lift 50 Lbs.
