Job Summary

Enprotech Industrial Technologies is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling products according to customer requirements, using a variety of tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
  • Align components for assembly, manually or with hoist, and bolt, screw, dowel, or weld using hand tools and welding equipment.
  • Remove high spots and smooth surfaces using chisels, scrapers, files, and powered hand grinders.
  • Assemble, set up, and operate machines to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to customer specifications.
  • Form, bend, and fasten piping, fixtures, and attachments required to service machines with air, water, and oil.
  • Work as a member of a team in the fabrication process.
  • Verify alignment and tolerances of moving parts using measuring instruments such as dial indicators and thickness gauges.
  • Install moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and work them to test free movement and operation of assembly by hand.
  • Test or assist in testing operation of completed products.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of mechanical assembly and disassembly experience.
  • Solid mechanical skills and the ability to use cranes and other heavy tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly prints and understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use basic shop math.
  • Ability to verbally communicate with team members, supervisors, and engineers.
  • Possess the physical strength and ability to safely handle heavy equipment and tools.
