Front Office Staff in Dermatology – FT/PT

Village Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, LLC is a fast paced dermatology practice that provides exceptional patient care and is looking for a full time member to help meet the needs of our growing patient population. The ideal candidate is kind, energetic, intelligent, highly dependable, and has the ability to multi-task, remain organized and willingness to learn new tools and procedures. Clerical staff provides a high level of customer service to our patients.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Check in/out of patients
  • Insurance verification
  • Scheduling appointments for new and recurring patients
  • Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller’s needs
  • Process payments from patients for co-payments and uninsured visits
  • Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments
  • Provide patients with support and guidance as needed
  • Miscellaneous projects given by the Front Office Team Leader and/or Practice Administrator

Working Hours:

  • Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM
  • There will be certain days of the week when you will be asked to close

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma (GED Diploma)
  • 1-2 years Medical office experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Team player
  • Willingness to learn
  • EHR/Computer literate
