We're currently seeking a VP of Operations at a leading precision component or parts manufacturer serving the Aerospace industry in Phoenix, IL. In this role, you will directly report to the President and be their right hand for all things operations-related, with the ability to dictate the future of a company and essentially down the line step into being the President of the company.

Base Salary: 150k to 170k

  • Up to 20% bonus 
  • Growth into being the President of the company.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ of manufacturing experience in an aerospace machining environment (AS9100).
    • 3+ years of operational leadership experience in a Director/VP-related role. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical is highly preferred)
  • Experience working at a small company.
  • Experience doing P&L (profit/loss) of a shop.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the President and being their right hand for all things operations-related.
  • Responsible for all 60 employees and have about 9 direct reports in engineering, NPI, production, GM ops, HR, systems management, quality, etc.
  • Operational leadership role as the director/VP leader in a machining environment.
