We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of [drivers/technicians/service personnel] to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, problem-solving, and multitasking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Coordination: Assign and schedule routes and tasks for drivers/technicians based on availability, priority, and location.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for drivers/technicians and customers, handling real-time communication to resolve issues and provide updates.
  • Monitoring: Track and monitor the status of dispatched jobs to ensure timely completion and adherence to service standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of dispatches, service requests, and customer interactions.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the dispatch process, including delays, cancellations, and customer complaints.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on dispatch performance, service metrics, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., customer service, logistics, operations) to ensure seamless coordination and support.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in logistics, dispatch, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role preferred
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency with dispatch software and tools (e.g., GPS tracking systems, scheduling software).
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Attributes: Reliable, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
