Job Summary

As the Warehouse Supervisor at Furls Crochet, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and support our team of warehouse associates, ensuring that orders are accurately and efficiently picked, packed, and shipped. You will collaborate with various departments to maintain optimal inventory levels and streamline logistics, ultimately contributing to the seamless delivery of our premium crochet products to our global customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, inventory management, order fulfillment for both retail and wholesale customers, and shipping.

  • Implement and enforce warehouse policies, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

  • Coordinate with the logistics team to optimize inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and cost-effective transportation solutions.

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and reconciliations, and oversee stock rotation practices.

  • Oversee the quality control team to ensure that all products meet the company's high-quality standards before shipment.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance, productivity, and inventory levels, presenting data-driven insights to management.

  • Train and onboard new warehouse personnel, providing guidance on best practices and safety procedures.

  • Address any warehouse-related issues or concerns promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Manage and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring regular maintenance and repairs are conducted as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in warehouse supervision, preferably in a fast-paced distribution or e-commerce environment.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members to achieve targets and goals.

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.

  • Knowledge of best practices in warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, and the Warehouse Supervisor will be expected to work Monday through Friday 8:30am through 4:30pm CST with flexibility. Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours, especially during peak seasons, may be required.

Salary
Base wage starting at $22.00 - $26.00 per hour. Eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $1000, payable after the completion of a 90-day probationary period. Performance bonuses are evaluated on a quarterly basis.
