Job Summary

As a Warehouse Associate at Furls Crochet, you will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, responsible for packing and picking crochet products for shipment, conducting quality control checks, and assisting with inventory counts. Your meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship will ensure our customers receive exceptional products with every order.

Responsibilities

  • Picking: Accurately pick crochet products from shelves based on order specifications, double-checking for the correct items and quantities.

  • Packing: Safely and securely pack crochet products for shipment, ensuring they are protected and presented beautifully upon delivery to customers.

  • Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality control checks on all products to ensure they meet our high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

  • Inventory Counts: Participate in regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels and contribute to efficient warehouse management.

  • Assist in Receiving: Aid in the receiving and inspection of incoming inventory, verifying product quality and quantities.

  • Organize and Maintain: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other warehouse team members, communicating efficiently to ensure smooth workflows.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is preferred but not required; we value a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in picking and packing orders accurately, ensuring quality control standards are met.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and maintain an organized workspace.

  • Physical Fitness: Capable of performing manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

  • Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Passion for Craftsmanship: Familiarity with crochet or crafting is a plus, though not required.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, and the Warehouse Associate will be expected to work Monday through Friday 8am through 4pm CST. Flexibility to work occasional weekends or extended hours, especially during peak seasons, may be required.

Salary
Hourly rate $15-18 per hour. Sign-on bonus of $500 to be paid after 90-day probationary period. Performance bonuses are evaluated on a quarterly basis.
