Full Job Description

Performs a variety of clerical accounting procedures to support the accounting department in day-to-day transactions including accounts payable; accounts receivable; data entry; maintenance of financial and statistical records; and performing related work as required. Working under close supervision, Accounting Clerk is an intermediate level therefore on the job training will take place. Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks are required.

Examples of Duties:

  • Bank reconciliations for multiple plans
  • Generating billing statements
  • Pay bills and miscellaneous expenses
  • Work with monthly bank draft payments and returns
  • Journal entries
  • Reconcile bank statements and make deposits
  • Maintain accounting calendar for tasks by frequency
  • Miscellaneous tasks for other accounting staff as needed
  • Professional phone skills
