Talento Search Group has an opening for an Assistant Maintenance Manager in Georgetown, Kentucky. This is a 1st shift position and the salary will be based on experience.


Position Summary:

The Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the manufacturing maintenance team in installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining of production and facility equipment. Also responsible for meeting or exceeding goals for costs, safety, sanitation compliance and organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain facility and facility projects
  • Direct the activities of maintenance leaders and team to meet priorities within department
  • Set up and follow a preventive and predictive maintenance program
  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Manage all machine uptime and downtime
  • Maintain and monitor necessary purchases of equipment to meet production schedule
  • Assist with training, mentoring and supervision of maintenance staff
  • Help to develop and manage the expense budget assigned to the department
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Experience Needed:

  • Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance, or a related Engineering field required
  • 3-5 years Maintenance Management, Supervisory or Lead experience within an industrial/manufacturing setting
  • Understanding of blueprints, schematics and control diagrams
  • Good computer skills to include Microsoft Office. Knowledge of ERP and CMMS systems
