- Scheduling: Making appointments, maintaining provider schedules, and ensuring that the office has a full schedule of patients each day
- Treatment Planning: Preparing Treatment Plans for the patients, following up, staying on top of the treatment
- Patient care: Greeting and checking in patients, answering questions, and providing post-appointment information
- Patient records: Creating and filing records, updating them, and providing them to patients
- Billing and insurance: Processing claims and payments, communicating with insurance companies, and overseeing payment methods
- Supplies: Managing inventory and ordering dental supplies and equipment
- Staff: Managing schedules, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring staff are prepared and on time
- Communication: Communicating with patients, dental professionals, and suppliers, and ensuring smooth communication between clinical and administrative staff
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with dental regulations and laws
- Safety: Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Policies: Developing and implementing office policies and procedures
- Team Management: Managing the front and back office team under the directions of senior management
- Marketing: Help the senior management in marketing the dental services
- Other: Assisting with treatments, answering phones, making copies, organizing files, Cash Register, Daily Production reporting, Morning Huddles and returning emails
Requirements:
- Must have a thorough understanding of Treatment Planning
- Must have at least 5 Years of Dental Office Manager Experience
- Good educational background is preferred
- Must have a thorough understanding of Treatment Planning
- Strong phone and in-person communication
- Excellent computer skills for email correspondence, financial transactions and scheduling of appointments
- Ability to multi task
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft software or any practice management software
- Motivation, Maturity, integrity, professional conduct and respect for patient confidentiality (HIPPA)
