Customer Service Support Representative for Global Publishing Solutions.
The Office of Global Publishing Solutions (GPS) has service centers in Washington, D.C., Manila, and Vienna that provide high quality, worldwide digital and off-set print and publishing solutions to the Department of State and other foreign affairs agencies.
Duties:
- Prepares cost and time estimates for all internal graphics and printing production jobs and A/GIS/GPS services based on customer specifications for both routine and nonstandard requirements.
- Attends meetings and conducts briefings and presentations that promote GPS products and services to current and potential customers and promote cost effective services for graphics, digital and offset printing and related printed products.
- Coordinates with all departments within GPS and with external customers to obtain project information.
- Provides customer education to heighten customer knowledge to achieve increased goodwill and loyalty.
- Responds to customer inquiries within established timeframe and analyzes customer complaints and concerns and facilitates satisfactory resolution.
- Completes and maintain records and all associated paperwork, records, and documents in the customer relationship management and estimating software for projects.
- Inspects finished products for quality and conformance to printing and bindery standards and the specifications for each work order.
REQUIREMENTS
- Being able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Knowledge of cost estimating principles and software to provide accurate estimates of graphics and printing costs.
- Two years of experience estimating printing-related projects.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of printing process and terminology required.
