Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to increase hotel occupancy, revenue, and market share.
  • Business Development: Identify and target potential business clients and groups, including corporate clients, events, and tour operators, to increase hotel bookings.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel agents, event planners, and local businesses to promote the hotel’s services and amenities.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
  • Revenue Management: Collaborate with the revenue management team to develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, both online and offline, to increase brand visibility and attract new customers.
  • Event Planning: Work with clients to plan and execute meetings, conferences, and other events at the hotel, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales or hospitality management, preferably within the hotel industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the Pittsburgh market and key business sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
