Schedule:  Monday through Friday 7:00 am start time.  
 
Job Summary
The primary duties of this position are to assist in the management and leadership of the 1st shift warehouse team, as well as sharing the responsibility with other supervisors to:
Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise a labor staff of 25-35 Union employees.
  • Utilize company WMS to manage labor and inventory.
  • Oversee the time completion of the receiving process.
  • Supervise order fulfillment of will call orders.
  • Assign and oversee department cleanliness throughout three separate temperature zones (dry, cooler, freezer).
  • Interact and support sales team with product availability.
  • Support delivery driver check out process.
  • Lead by example in following company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Ability and Willingness to work hands on with the team to meet deadlines.

Experience/Qualifications
  • 5-years of experience in warehouse distribution- perishable product preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365/Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Demonstrate a general understanding in the following areas:
    • Warehouse Management Systems
    • Inventory Control
    • Shipping & Receiving
    • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills in a Diverse Work Environment
    • Hiring, Training, and Personnel issues. 
    • Ability to Multitask and Prioritize
    • Work with a sense of urgency and a result driven mindset.
