Position Summary: The Warehouse Forklift Specialist is tasked with efficiently managing the storage and rotation of full pallets within the warehouse inventory reserve racks, utilizing either a stand-up or sit-down forklift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Stand-Up, High Reach, or Sit-Down Forklift to position pallets in warehouse racks up to 46 feet high.
  • Sort and replenish products from upper racks to front pick bins.
  • Unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and powered pallet jacks.
  • Manually transport products from the receiving area to designated storage locations.
  • Ensure adherence to safe product handling procedures.
  • Replenish products from upper storage racks to lower pick bins within cooler areas.
  • Monitor product quality during movement.
  • Break down pallets upon arrival at the receiving dock.
  • Maintain cleanliness in receiving docks and pick bin areas.
  • Clean and charge forklift at the end of each shift.
  • Document daily activities using RF Scan Gun technology.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of forklift operation experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all organizational levels.
  • Must pass a forklift operating examination.
  • Preferred experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
