RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for a detailed oriented, organized individual with great communication skills, to join our accounting department. A successful candidate will have accounting experience, comfort with accounting software, and excel skills.
RISE offers an Accounting Associate:
- A rate of $19 to $22 per hour
- $1500 bonus after 6 months of employment
- Day one vacation accruals at a rate of 10 days per year, plus 9 paid holidays, and additional time off including sick, personal, and more

Overview of Job Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process check requests and payment vouchers
- Prepare 1099s at year end and support annual closing processes
- Manage cash receipts and bank deposits
- Support other accounting functions as requested
To qualify you must have:
- An Associate Degree in Accounting or a related field and a year of experience in a related position
- Other combinations of education and experience will be considered
- An ability to operate independently, multitask, and follow your training
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal boundaries
