We are seeking an experienced business to business (B2B) sales professional for our expanding business in the greater Fort Pierce / West Palm Beach region of Florida. This is a brand new territory for our expansion, with unlimited potential.

Responsibilities include developing and executing the sales strategy from identifying prospects to closing deals. You will target and identify potential customers, show them how our service dramatically improves their waste experience (consequently saving them significant money), and manage the sales process from the beginning thru to the close. Our customers are in varied industries, including manufacturing, distribution, shipping & logistics, residential and commercial construction, to name a few. Virtually any business producing bulky waste with an open top dumpster is an eligible candidate for our services.

This position typically works an 8-hour Monday-Friday work week within your assigned territory. With over 200 square miles of protected sales territory, your earning potential is through the roof. Reliable transportation is required to meet with prospective clients at their respective facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects, conduct a live demo along with our professional truck operator, then, if appropriate, start a risk-free trial period with the client and then once we’ve proven it at no risk to the prospect, complete the sale.

  • Creating and presenting customer proposals and presentations.

  • Plan your sales activities each week.

  • Within our defined territory and routes, setting face to face appointments, cold calling, sales calls, maintaining customer information, and closing contracts.

  • Maintaining client relationships to ensure long-term happiness for our customers.

  • Utilizing marketing material to help create leads for our routed business.

  • Act as a brand ambassador at local trade associations, shows and events.

  • Maintain an accurate and up to date sales pipeline utilizing our CRM software and other provided tools.

  • Demonstrate complete reliability and accountability.

  • Work with GM to identify new potential within our 200+ square miles of territory to then sell into.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ experience in outside B2B sales or similar experience

  • A track record of achieving monthly sales goals

  • Sales meetings will take place on the customer's premises. Local travel is expected; reliable transportation required

  • Bi-lingual – English is required, Spanish is helpful but not required

 

Fear, unwillingness, or hatred of "cold calls" should be a good sign this is not the opportunity for you. We close a high percentage of our prospects, and virtually all of those start as cold calls/visits. We are new to the industry, so it has to be shown. Making a brief introduction of our innovation is very different from a commodity cold call - trust us. From phone, to email, to LinkedIn, to physical drop in, we have multiple approaches that work. They are all, ultimately, a form of cold calling. Physically dropping in with the ability to demo the truck (with the professional operator doing the smashing) breaks the ice almost every time and is a preferred approach once you have identified the prospects within a route. As they say, seeing is believing
