We are looking for Staff Members who come in for In-Person interview and the date will be confirmed upon your confirmation.

In this role you will be in support roles for upcoming election in Miami Dade County.

Schedule: 40 hours a week, Overtime as needed.
Pay Rate: $20.34/hour

Scheduling Commitment:

  • This position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; including long shifts as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must bring a copy of Resume
  • Must bring FL Driver's license
  • Must bring Active VALID ID proof (not expiry)
  • Social Security Card
  • Employment Authorization Card Copy (if not citizen)
  • Bank Account Information, Routing number and Account number

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One year of experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of personal computers and related equipment is required
  • Must have a valid FL driver's license
  • Proficient in English and able to communicate in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be High school diploma or GED.
  • Be able to pass background screening and Drug Test (mandatory).

Nature of Work:
This is an entry level, technical work in the delivery, installation, setup, testing, and maintenance of computer hardware and software components. Seasonals in this classification are responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware/software and providing department-wide end-user support.

Illustrative Tasks:

  • Install computer hardware including personal computers, thin client terminals, printers, telephone handsets, and other components.
  • Installation of various computer software.
  • Isolate the nature of system failures or PC problems and utilize diagnostic utilities to troubleshoot problems.
  • Provides department-wide end-user support and service regarding hardware and software problems.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of the current principles and practices of computer systems technology
  • Basic knowledge of the current research and trends of new computer related technologies
  • Basic knowledge of cabling/wiring strategies.
  • Basic knowledge of computer software applications to understand the process of installing and uninstalling software programs.
  • Troubleshooting skills for network problems.
  • System tools skill for troubleshooting.
  • Skill in the use of computer and peripheral equipment.
