Job DescriptionJob DescriptionImmediate need for an experienced Human Resource Onboarding Assistant in Northwest Houston.

This is an in office, Monday-Friday position that is expected to last through January 2025.

Position Overview
:
As a Human Resources Onboarding Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition into the company. This position involves a lot of data entry. You will work closely with the HR Manager, the accounting team, and Call Center manager, providing essential support to fellow employees. This role requires a highly adaptable individual who can quickly learn and navigate our client’s unique culture and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for onboarding of all new hires and assisting with employee orientation.
Enter data and maintain employee information in the HRIS system.
Process pre-employment background checks and drug tests.
Assist employees with basic inquiries related to benefits, 401K, and other HR-related matters.
Always maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and ensure smooth office operations.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent experience working within an HR department with onboarding being a large focus of the position.
A degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is a plus.
Familiarity with HRIS systems like Paylocity is a plus (Workday experience is a bonus).
Ability to adapt quickly and learn new processes.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to represent HR professionally.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
High emotional intelligence and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
