Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Management Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising all on-site staff, ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of all properties, and supporting the development and implementation of property management procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage on-site staff to ensure apartment buildings are well-maintained and procedures are followed.
- Organize and lead monthly manager meetings to discuss updates, issues, and improvements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain property management procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee rental increases, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Coordinate evictions, working closely with legal teams and ensuring all procedures are properly followed.
- Handle paperwork and procedures for subsidized housing, including Section 8 and other government programs.
- Ensure excellent tenant relations, addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally via email and other communication channels.
- Monitor property budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective management practices.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Check emails and respond to tenant concerns and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Perform all other duties typical of an apartment manager supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of property management procedures, rental regulations, and eviction processes.
- Experience with subsidized housing programs, including Section 8.
- Proficiency in property management software, with experience using Buildium as a plus.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
