We are looking for a dedicated and personable P&C Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. The right person for this role will be one who is comfortable talking on the phone, likes problem solving, is detail oriented and thrives in a fast-paced workday. You will also be dependable, pro-active and a trusted professional our customers and Team members can count on consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service through phone, email and text interactions.
- Handle mortgagee changes, billing questions, and cancellation(s) review.
- Learning multiple insurance carrier systems.
- Process accurate data intake into our system for quoting.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure confidentiality.
- Resolve client issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members on various virtual platforms to achieve agency goals and improve processes.
Day To Day Expectations of This Role:
- Your day will consist of greeting customers on the phone, collecting information for updates or creating new accounts on Ezlynx.
- You'll assist with general customer service like mortgage changes, billing questions and processing payments.
- You will answer/respond to calls/texts/emails via outlook and our AMS.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in the personal lines insurance industry.
- Strong and clear communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with insurance management software is a plus.
- Pass Background Check(s) requirements.
Remote and Company Requirements:
- Reliable High-Speed Internet with capability for handling (without delays) video conference, VoIP phone calls and other systems.
- A designated work area that is free from interruptions, distractions and noise.
- Agreement and Compliance of Company Handbook Policies and Remote Working Policy.
