What you will be supporting:
The Food and Drug Administration Office of Women’s Health (OWH) is seeking professional services to support OWH science related activities, increase OWH’s visual identity, develop informational and educational marketing campaigns, and develop and implement a digital strategy for disseminating OWH social media and digital messages, video content, visual graphics support, and content for print publications for diverse audiences of women, health care providers, and women’s health stakeholders. This includes the development of new informational and educational marketing campaigns or initiatives to promote women’s health topics within the purview of the products regulated by the FDA that impact women’s health, or refinement of existing campaigns or initiatives.
What are we looking for?
Take responsibilities for the coordination and completion of projects and oversees all aspects of projects. Be responsible for the completion and delivery of all critical project management documentation. Provide technical expertise and team oversight in developing innovative campaigns and initiatives and implementing communication strategies.
Fun stuff you will do on the job:
- Develop critical artifacts including Program Management Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, Project Schedule, Monthly Status Reporting, etc.
- Provides performance oversight for the team.
- Manage the contract budget and projection.
- Be responsible for final delivery of all reports requested by OWH.
- Provide oversight to ensure the quality of all services and deliverables.
- Undertake studies, conduct data analyses, write reports, and provide support for initiatives while leading the development of solutions, recommendations, or outcomes.
- Translate requirements from public health scientists and program leadership into visual communication products.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies, and experience using these methodologies to implement projects within a federal government environment.
- High level of professionalism, diplomacy, and patience
- Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively
- Ability to garner support and operate with political savvy
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in priorities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload based on needs of the client
- Previous experience with FDA mission, programs, policies, procedures, and communication activities preferred

Currently due to the remote working status of the federal government, most DRT employees are teleworking from home and leveraging video conferencing along with other virtual productivity tools. Under normal circumstances, most of our positions are required to report onsite. However, DRT has not yet determined when employees will be required to return to their onsite workspaces. Please be aware that at the time a date is determined to return to the worksite, the requirement of this position may be to report in person to the work location.
