Practice Locations: Alpharetta, East Cobb, Sandy Springs

Patient Services Coordinator

Primarily concerned with coordinating appointments for patients. Cross training opportunities for the front office and other areas of the practice are available.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES*:

  • Greet, register, and check patients in/out
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Schedule, cancel, and confirm appointments
  • Verify patient balances, collects and processes patient payments, and updates patient accounts
  • Process insurance eligibility
  • Manages medical records requests
  • Handles patient complaints or concerns
  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Experience: Some previous work-related experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred but not required)

SKILLS:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must possess the ability to make decisions and problem solve
