We're looking for a dedicated Host/Hostess to join our team and be the welcoming face of our establishment. $14/hr plus tips Job Description: As the Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your role is vital in setting the tone for an enjoyable dining experience. We are seeking a presentable, friendly, and professional individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests with a warm smile and positive tone - Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure optimal flow - Manage all to-go orders during your shift, from taking orders, to packing up and double-checking the orders, taking payments, and ensuring guests leave happy. - Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area - Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists - Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth operations - Address guest inquiries and provide information about the menu and service - Support the team with various tasks as needed Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure Professional appearance and demeanor Cooperative work ethic and attitude Comfortable standing and moving around for approx. 6 hours Why work at Yo Momma's?
