Job Overview:

Drain Mob is seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Coordinator to join our team. This multifaceted role will support the sales department, manage dispatching operations, ensure smooth workflows, and contribute to the growth of our plumbing services. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support:
    • Assist the sales team with day-to-day tasks including preparing sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
    • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely follow-ups on leads, proposals, and customer inquiries.
    • Maintain and update customer databases with accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Prepare sales reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to help the sales team achieve targets.
  • Dispatching:
    • Schedule and dispatch Drain technicians to job sites based on customer appointments and service requests.
    • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely arrival and completion of jobs.
    • Monitor and manage the daily schedule to optimize efficiency and service delivery.
    • Communicate with customers regarding appointment times, delays, and any changes to service schedules.
    • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including job statuses and technician assignments.
    • Address and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that arise during the day.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Act as the first point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, and providing information about our plumbing services.
    • Schedule and confirm appointments for the sales team with potential and existing customers.
    • Assist in managing customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Organize and maintain sales and dispatch documentation, ensuring all records are properly filed and accessible.
    • Coordinate and manage the logistics of sales and dispatch meetings, including booking venues, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
    • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and materials for client meetings and trade shows.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement improvements in sales and dispatch processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
    • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to streamline workflows and enhance customer experiences.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, operations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a sales support, coordination, or dispatching role, preferably within the plumbing or construction industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, dispatching systems, and sales tracking tools is a plus.
