We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing various consumer electronics including but not limited to Mobile Devices, Laptops, Tablets, Wearables and is a vital part of servicing our customers – internal and external to the business. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

· Inspects, triages, tests and repairs defective wireless devices including but not limited to mobile devices, laptops, tablets and wearables.

· Disassembles and repairs or replaces loose, worn, or defective components and wiring, using hand tools, fixtures and other necessary equipment needed for repair.

· Uses our internal warehouse management system to track progress of repairs.

· Remains current on all assigned training

· Ensures that all repairs meet or exceed repair standards

· Adheres to repair best practices and safety procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous electronic repair experience is required for this skilled position (WISE Level 2 a plus).

· High energy level, detail oriented, exhibit a sense of urgency and initiative to perform in a fast-paced environment.

· Be able to work independently on a team

· Strong communication skills

· Must be able to work well within diverse teams

· Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite

· Respect core values of Electronics Renewal, LLC and comply with the Company’s policies and procedures.

· Onsite Skills assessment to be performed on site during interview process.

· Must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide proof of work eligibility in the US.

· High School Diploma or equivalent

Strong candidates would have any combination of the following:

· Wise Certification (Level 2)

· Mobile device OEM certification – e.g., Samsung Electronics of America Certified, Apple Certified, Motorola Certified

· Basic to Moderate RF testing knowledge

· Basic to Moderate Software/Firmware knowledge of electronic devices

· Laser etching knowledge

· Bi-Lingual (English – Spanish)

Work Environment: This job operates within a climate-controlled ESD safe clean room within a climate-controlled warehouse. This role routinely uses small tools to conduct repairs. There are also proprietary equipment and software provided by OEM partners as well as electronic equipment such as solder stations and other electronic device warming tools, proper PPE is provided. This role may require to be around fumes, airborne particles, and toxic chemicals – PPE is provided and safety protocols are in place when such instances occur. Our tech room noise level is usually moderate. Technicians wear smocks provided by the company.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh up to 20 pounds. Technicians must be comfortable working in the environment outlined above.

Position Type: This is a full-time hourly position – M-F 7:30am – 4:00pm

Overtime is planned and offered when necessary.

Must be willing to accommodate to meet business SLAs with our customers.
