Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for Foreman/Lead man to lead and perform assembly and fabrication duties in our Chino, CA manufacturing facility. You will not only assemble structural metal products such as frameworks or shells for machinery, ovens, tanks, etc., but you will also be putting together simple plumbing and electrical assemblies based on schematics/blueprints provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
  • Operate welding equipment
  • Ensure all parts are fitted properly
  • Resolve assembly and production issues
  • Hammer, grind, and prepare workpieces for paint
  • Ensure working environment is clean and safe
  • Maintain equipment in good condition and complete preventive maintenance

Job Specific Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Knowledge using a variety of metal component fabrication equipment
  • Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts
  • Read and understand schematics and blueprints
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
  • Regularly lift up to 75 pounds
  • Forklift operation experience
  • Good verbal English communication skills
