Under close supervision, assembles small parts, capacitors, switches, and related components into cabinets; fabricates various sub-assemblies; and does other work as required.

**Compensation**:
$21 - $23 hourly

**Responsibilities**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
- Works primarily with other assemblers and is responsible for consistently meeting quality and production standards.
- Operates forklift to move pallets and cabinets only if trained and certified.
- Assembles capacitor racks.
- Installs oil switches, copper fuse holders, insulation, mountings, porcelain, links, and louver cover.
- Drills and installs glastic fittings.
- Build transformer brackets.
- Verifies correct clearances and hole diameters given blueprints.
- Operates air sanders to debur door handles.
- Operates mini-punches, grinders, band saws, impact wrenches, hand tools, etc.
- Able to read blueprints and schematics.
- Makes up small hardware parts.
- Cleans and maintains work area.
- Can work with little to no supervision.

**Education/Experience**:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to nine months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Language Ability**:

- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations and with other employees.

**Mathematical Ability**:

- Add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10’s and 100’s/ Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.
