Job DescriptionJob Description

JOB PURPOSE

The primary objective of the Cage/Vault Manager is to facilitate the optimization of the customer service for the gaming floor and Team Member performance. Maintain effective communication with Team Members, the General Manager and other Executive management. Facilitate the “excellence in customer service” environment. Act as liaison with various equipment vendors. Develop and maintain analytical data for review and recommendation for changes on staffing and process within the internal control environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Schedule staff according to overall customer service assessment

2. Evaluate and develop related training plans for staff

3. Manage, organize, and update Cage/Vault processes documenting relevant data while using database applications

4. Communicate and provide information by relevant methods for property optimization

5. Analyze and interpret departmental financial information to maximize efficiency

6. Research and investigate incidents documenting findings in professional manner

7. Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities

8. Maintain current attendance, evaluation and counseling records for staff

9. Review Cage/Vault organization structure and make recommendations for changes as needed

10. Personal time management skills to allow for effective departmental management on all shifts

11. Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health, safety, and quality management

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Other duties as assigned to facilitate the efficiency of Casino operations

2. Operate as an emergency Pull/Count Team member as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Minimum of high school graduate or equivalent

2. Minimum of six (6) years Gaming experience in Cage with management responsibilities

3. Use of all Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for spreadsheet, reporting and presentation development

4. Ability to have a flexible schedule to provide for Casino requirements

5. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in a high stress/profile environment

6. Ability to assess risk and respond in appropriate manner

7. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

8. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS

1. Ability to prepare, read and interpret grammatically correct documents using appropriate English standards of language

2. Ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.

LICENSING

Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state, federal and/or Wyandotte Nation law.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to take a minimum of 80 (Eighty) stairs with frequency on a daily basis

2. Ability to carry 35# (thirty-five pounds)

3. Ability to function in a smoking environment. Employee smoking is restricted to outside location and during break times

4. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

5. The noise levels in the work environment are constant
