Responsibilities

  • Drive existing product quality enhancement through use of continuous improvement and methods – Six Sigma, Product Understanding (PPU), Designing of Experiments (DOE), Customer Quality Index (CQI)
  • Support and interact with customers through complaint investigations, resolutions and trending
  • Ensuring the commercialized product design intent and product integrity is retained as materials, processes, methods, and specifications change
  • Supporting change as it relates to design changes inspired by quality improvement, source of supply changes, or cost reduction efforts
  • Supporting New Product Introductions (NPI) through product and process validations, test method development, and risk management

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in science or engineering discipline
  • 2 years of Quality Engineering in medical device
  • 2 years of experience applying requirements of ISO 13485 and ISO 14971
  • CAPA experience
  • High attention to detail

Additional Details:

  • Position Type: 1 year contract opportunity
  • Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
  • Position location: Hybrid schedule
  • Pay rate range approved up to -$24/hr depending on experience
