Citadel Roofing and Solar is looking for an AR/Collections Specialist to join our growing Team. This is a high volume and fast paced position so the ideal candidate must work well in this type of environment.  This position is based in Vacaville, CA and will report to the VP Finance.

Position responsibilities:

·         Composes emails and makes collections calls to customers

·         Develops and maintains relationships with customers 

·         Records customer payments (checks, credit card, electronic)

·         Researches and solves payment discrepancies 

·         Processes payments and credits

·         Makes adjustments to customer accounts as needed 

·         Prepares A/R aging report weekly 

·         Other duties as assigned to meet business needs 
 

Requirements:

·         Experience with high volume collections

·         2-3 years’ experience as a collector

·         Must have experience in accounts receivable or collections

·         High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred

·         Must have strong work ethics

·         Must be well organized and a self-starter

·         Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable

·         Proficient in Excel and Word, 10-key by touch, Oracle experience a plus

·         Possess strong organizational and time management skills

·         Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

·         Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

·         Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
