Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Security Specialist to join our team at Allied Universal Event Services. As a key member of our event staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Day Preparation and Execution: Assist in all aspects of event day preparation and execution, including setting up security checkpoints, coordinating with event staff, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is in place.
  • Access Control and Screening: Allow appropriate entry into each venue, collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, direct traffic coming in and out of the venue, and screen guests during entry via bag searching, hand wand or metal detector, and ID verification.
  • Crowd Control and Management: Protect guests, staff, and venue ownership group assets by watching for security breaches at vital checkpoints, responding quickly to potential crowd control issues, and providing escorts for unruly guests when ejections are warranted.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide a positive experience for guests as they arrive at your facility entrance, aisle, concourse area or other location, and provide guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions that will enhance their entertainment experience.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
