A busy clinic seeking an individual with excellent time management and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities. And having a strong ability to work under pressure is a must. Assist the back-office team 90% of the time and assist the front office team 10% of the time.

  • Greet all incoming patients to the clinic.
  • Answer phone calls, direct calls to appropriate party, return calls, and respond to voicemails.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments.’
  • Enter patient information into practice software.
  • Verify insurance and collect and post payments.
  • Performs EEG- electroencephalogram.
  • Performs triage to patients and inputs vital signs, chief complaint, and medical history into the electronic health record.
  • Will assist the physician to scribe the encounter into the electronic health record.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma,
  • Certified Medical Office Assistance with a minimum of one year experience,
  • Must have a negative criminal background.
  • Prefer one to two years’ experience in the back office.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis,
  • Knowledge of computer and relevant electronic health record applications,
  • Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures,
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred,
  • Pay will be commensurate with experience.
