Medical Assistant Opportunity at Laredo Medical Center

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Laredo Medical Center's Laredo Physician Associates. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient care and front office duties
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Perform phlebotomy, special collections, and other assigned tasks
  • Ensure the LMC values are reflected in all aspects of department operations
Requirements:
  • Complete Medical Assistant training from an approved program or six months patient care experience
  • Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent, bilingual in English and Spanish, prior experience in medical office, strong organizational and communication skills
  • Required: CPR certification within 30 days of hire
