Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Maintenance Team:

    • Lead, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
    • Assign daily tasks and ensure timely completion.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.

  • Equipment Maintenance:

    • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on all industrial equipment.
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules.
    • Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.

  • Facility Management:

    • Manage the maintenance of the facility's infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
    • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services.

  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment histories.

  • Inventory Management:

    • Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
    • Coordinate with the purchasing department to order necessary supplies.

  • Budget Management:

    • Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance budget.
    • Monitor expenses and seek cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
    • At least 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and maintenance procedures.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, noisy).

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position, with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed.
