Job DescriptionJob DescriptionNorth American Composites has an exciting and fun career opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist in our Tulsa, OK location.

The Customer Service Specialist will work to satisfy customer needs and build a strong-working relationship with both external customers and internal teams. They will process and manage all aspects of the order entry process to ensure every order is fulfilled to customers’ expectations. This is a “high-energy” position requiring an individual to possess excellent organization, and time management skills and the ability to be self-motivated at all times.

This position is OT eligible.

Monday - Friday 7:30AM – 4:30 PM

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in a professional/business setting
  • Manufacturing or Distribution experience preferred
  • Must be a strong communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize.
  • Able to work in a team and independently
  • ERP experience preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, enter, and manage inbound sales orders and communicate product availability, ship date, and other components to customer.
  • Determine availability of requested product through correspondence with suppliers and/or purchasing agents and requisition product through the proper channels as necessary.
  • Respond to customer inquiries such as price, availability, product certification, SDS, and/or basic technical information.
  • Solve customer problems and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Manage customer short stocks and back orders that remain in the system.
  • Initiate customer return material requests.
  • Prepare all customer documentation necessary for shipments and follow process from the start to finish.
  • Double check pick sheets for accuracy of count, measure and amount, especially in international shipments, making sure proper amounts are taken out of into inventory.
  • Support Account Managers by providing pricing, product information, and maintaining key accounts.
  • Support Credit Department by researching and resolving customer short pays.
  • Support Purchasing by making them aware of stock outages and/or customer stock requirements and obtaining COAs and/or SDS from suppliers.
  • Support Warehouse by emailing customer COAs, SDS or calculating UPS and/or common carrier charges as necessary.
