Location: Mesa, AZ
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $19.50/hr (increases to $22/hr + commission upon hire)
About Us: Join our team in Mesa, AZ, as a Collections Representative. We offer a fun, competitive work environment with ample opportunities for growth. This is a full-time, in-office role with a schedule that allows for work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers to collect outstanding payments via phone, email, and mail.
- Utilize skip tracing techniques to locate customers with overdue accounts.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements within company guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records of all communications and payment arrangements.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet and exceed collection targets.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in collections and skip tracing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations and situations with professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in using collection software and MS Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in collections is a plus.
