    SUMMIT PETROLEUM LLC, a Midland-based private oil company, is interviewing for the position of Production Accounting & Reporting to support our Midland Basin horizontal development program.  The position will report to the Vice President of Operations & Engineering.  The ideal candidate will have five to ten years of experience in Production Accounting & Reporting and be able to assist or perform the majority of the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

 

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & KNOWLEDGE EXPECTATIONS:

·         Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment requiring a high level of accuracy while maintaining focus on the big picture.

·         Advanced knowledge of oil & gas production allocation concepts.

·         Exceptional analytical skills, specifically around data interpretation.

·         Proficiency in the software below or an industry equivalent:

o    Peloton ProdView, used for field data capture and production reporting & accounting.

o    Schlumberger OFM, used for production and asset surveillance.

o    Sensia ADM, SpotFire, SQL, used for data management and analysis.

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft programs including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Outlook.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Production Reporting & Accounting

o    Collaborate with operations personnel in setting up allocation networks to accurately reflect physical equipment and metering.

o    Assist field personnel to ensure timely, accurate reporting and transmission of field operational and production data.

o    Analysis of data for accuracy and efficiency by reviewing field data capture and daily reporting.

o    Analyze hauler, gatherer, and purchaser statements monthly.

o    Manage the flow and accuracy of production-related data between multiple software applications to ensure accurate volume allocations reporting.

o    Prepare, reconcile, and produce monthly production volume and sales allocations.

o    Liaise with revenue and operations accounting to resolve any variances.

o    Ensure timely and accurate reporting of production volumes, both internally and externally.

o    Prepare and file TRRC PR Report and other regulatory reports.

o    Ability to meet state, federal, and corporate deadlines.

o    Participate in well reviews with field & engineering operations.

·         Contract Support

o    Oil & Gas Marketing contract administration.

o    Operations contract administration.

·         Company Annual Review Process & Support
