Job DescriptionJob Description

·       Execute all Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations

·       Prepare and/or review appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations.

·       Maintain the general ledger system.

·       Invoice all the productions for the different projects, Accounts Receivable

·       Reconciling all GL accounts like Cash, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Capital Asserts, Inventory, Loan accounts, Sales, Interest Accounts, Prepayments accounts, expense accounts and others.

·       Review the prepayment schedule accounts and approve the monthly journal entries.

·       Process all AR invoices

·       Responsible for the cycle of AR, reviewing the production process of manufacturing to ensure the cost is allocated correctly, making the invoices after the deliveries, sending the invoices to customers and following up with them until the payments are verified.

·       Financial analysis, Process Payroll

·       Revenue and expenditure variance analysis

·       Audit regular Inventory counts

·       Prepare month end review and closing (financial statements)

·       Opening of accounts, closing of the periods once the Month, quarter and years are closed.

·       Reporting to IRS- Use Tax

·       Responsible for preparing Cash flow reports each month to present to the management to support decision making processes.

·       Responsible for tracking each Project/ Contracts for futures incoming funds

·       Assist CPA with Tax Returns and financial statements (personal and company)

·       Process all loan bank applications, and applications to change entities as needed.

·       Process all customer and /or Vendors Credit applications.

·       Support HR with information related to employee cost, calculations of payment adjustments in Payroll processing.

·       Reconciliation of the different employees’ discounts Benefits in the payroll process, and posted to the corresponding GL account, as well as reconciling the workers compensation account.

·       Review and approve the 1099’s prepared by the Senior Accountant

·       Responsible for the Transition of all GL Account Balances, Inventory Items, Chat of accounts with the different grouping and other information when the Company changed from one Accounting Program to a new one.

·       Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

·       Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure financial reports are produced on time.

·       Invoice all Sales of the Company

·       Responsible for preparing and reviewing quarter and annual Balance Sheet and Income statements’ trend analysis.

·       Train and supervise accounting staff/ establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

·       Maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

·       Ensure the General Ledger reflects the financial reality of the Company.

·       Guarantee that the Quarterly Payroll Reports & annual W-3 Report from payroll service provider are reconciled with our Payroll Accounts (Salary Officers, Bonus Staff & Salary Staff)

·       Assurance taxes and other company forms are filed.

·       Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable laws.

·       Ensure payables are paid and receivables are collected in time/ provide customer statements.

·       Develop system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts, defining accounting policies and procedures.

·       Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

·       Balance subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.

·       Maintain and balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance, reconciling entries.

·       Responsible for recording and posting the Internal transfers from the different service entities and products.

·       Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.

·       Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

·       Researching accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

·       All employees participate in AmePower wide effort to promote quality assurance in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
